Food Garnishing - Part II

The basic carving on fruits and vegetables began with blogging while putting up some garnishes around the dishes. Later last year, I got into this fruit and vegetable carvings seriously. I made tons of salads using the disasters during the day and later also started freezing and stocking up my carvings.I carved endlessly for 3 weeks before ganesh chaturthi to make my decoration. On the d-day, i had a sore thumb, it hurt so much that I could barely move it. However, the feedback it fetched me, made up for the pain. Point to note is, take it easy when you decide to start your carving expedition

1) Apple Swan

2) Papaya Lantern
 3) Flower and Vegetable basket
