Baked Wontons

This was not intentional. Eating steamed wontons is perfectly fine in case you want to avoid eating fried foods.
But then they are different dishes. Steamed wontons taste good in soups and fried wontons are good as starter foods.
When you dont want to eat deep fried starters that is when you bake them.

Ingredients (10-15)
for dough
1 cup All purpose flour
150 ml Mineral water(Bisleri/Aquafina)
salt to taste
for stuffing
1 cup red+green+yellow capsicum cut in fine strips
1 spring onion finely sliced (greens included)
100 gms cabbage finely shredded
1/2 cup sprouted beans
1/2 cup carrots finely sliced
2 tspn dark soya sauce
2 tspn white vinegar
1 tspn ginger garlic paste
2-3 green chillies finely chopped
salt to taste
Oil to cook and brush
Method
1) Prepare the dough, by mixing the flour with salt and then kneading using water as needed. Make a crumbly dough and cover it with a damp cloth or cling film and keep it in the refrigerator for minimum 30 min (overnight is better)
2) In a wok, heat some oil, add all the vegetables one after the other and stir then well on high flame for 5 min or until the water is evaporated and the veggies are slightly wilted.
3) Add all the seasonings , ginger garlic pastes and sauces. and stir again till the mixture is dry. If the mixture is not drying then add a tspn of corn starch and stir for some more time.
4) Preheat the oven at 170/160 c for about 5-8 min.
5) In the mean time, make small balls of the dough and roll them out. Spoon the filling and seal the edges in the shape you like.
6) When all are done, brush them with some oil and place it on a lined baking sheet.
7) Place them in the hot oven for about 10-12 min or until the edges are crisp and golden. Brush with more oil if required.
8) Serve with red chilli sauce or schezwan sauce
